With in-person shows on hold through December, McCain Auditorium is announcing a new live stream event series called McCain Connected.
The series is a collection of curated shows available online, most of which will be free of charge. A few will require a ticket be purchased to view the show. Some of the events planned will take place live on the McCain stage or at other locations around the world. Some will be prerecorded and made available exclusively to the McCain audience.
Six events are currently scheduled. The first will be Wayne Goins and the Jazzdemic Orchestra, performing at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4. It is a one-time live event only available online and will be free to view. Goins is a distinguished music professor at K-State.

• Andy McKee on acoustic guitar at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25.
• Andy McKee on acoustic guitar at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25.• Flint Hills Children’s Choir — Bluestem at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Nov. 8.
• Flint Hills Children’s Choir — Konza at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8.
• “The Hip Hop Nutcracker” at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11.
• Jim Brickman’s “Comfort & Joy at Home 2020” Virtual Tour will be offered live online at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22.
