Riley County police received a report of a possible theft on Thursday.
55-year old Kathleen Cushman of 1021 Colorado told RCPD that she lost three items – a diamond engagement ring, a turquoise ring and a garnett ring – for a total loss of $1,900. An RCPD representative did say that Cushman was unsure as to whether she had lost the rings inside her home or if they had been stolen. The incident is believed to have occurred between January 1 and September 26 of this year.
The case is under further investigation.
