MANHATTAN, KAN. – 

Officers filed a report for theft in the 900 block of N. Manhattan Ave. in Manhattan on September 21, 2021, around 9:23 a.m. Officers listed a 22-year-old male as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect stole his matte black Palomar GT Hardtail bicycle. The total estimated loss associated with this case is approximately $600. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report for theft in the 500 block of Stone Pointe Dr. in Manhattan on September 21, 2021, around 10:44 a.m. Officers listed a 78-year-old male as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect stole his green John Deere riding lawnmower. The total estimated loss associated with this case is approximately $5000. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Officers responded to the report of a medical call in the 3800 block of Rock Ford Ave. in Manhattan on September 21, 2021, around 1:49 p.m. When officers arrived on scene, they found a deceased 76-year-old male. The investigation is underway. No foul play is suspected at this time.
