MANHATTAN, KAN. – 

Officers filed a report for theft in the 1200 block of Vattier St. in Manhattan on September 22, 2021, around 11:52 a.m. Officers listed a 21-year-old male as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect stole his black 1998 Chevy C15 that was unlocked with the keys in the ignition. Officers responded to the report of a medical call in the 300 block of S. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. in Manhattan on September 22, 2021, around 5:25 p.m. When officers arrived on scene, they found a deceased 66-year-old male. The investigation is underway. No foul play is suspected at this time.

The total estimated loss associated with this case is approximately $1,000.
