A Manhattan man has been charged with failing to register under the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act.
45 year old Mark David Davis could face a maximum penalty of 10 years and a fine up to $250,000.
The crime is alleged to have occurred from April to November 2012. The U.S. Marshals Service was involved the investigation and Assistant U.S. Attorney Christine Kenney is prosecuting.
Meanwhile, a Grandview Plaza man has been charged with one count of unlawful possession of a firearm after a felony conviction.
26 year old Tony Dennis faces a maximum penalty of 10 years and a fine up to $250,000 for the February 3rd incident.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were involved with investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney Duston Slinkard will prosecute.
