Back to school for USD 383!

Summer is officially over for students in USD 383, as classes started back up today (Wednesday) in Manhattan and Ogden. District Communications Coordinator Michelle Jones tells KMAN students attending Manhattan High’s West Campus will notice some changes. Jones says the renovation makes the school feel more open.

A guided tour is planned for September 25th at the high school to allow parents and community members to view the newly renovated campus.

Meanwhile, Manhattan/Ogden NEA Representative Usha Reddi says teachers and staff are all really excited about the academic year, and she imagines they aren’t the only ones. But there might be some nervousness too. Reddi suggests communicating with your child.  She stresses there needs to be a partnership between the school and the parents and family, and it takes all parties to make the child’s school experience successful.

A reminder, Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson don’t start classes until Friday.
