KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) Authorities are investigating the death of a worker at a northeast Kansas rail yard.
Police in Kansas City, Kan., were called to the Burlington Northern Santa Fe yard around 1:30 p.m. Monday after the man was found trapped between two rail cars.
Investigators say the man apparently was hit by a railroad car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The worker was described as in his 40s. His name was being withheld while family members were notified.
