Tuttle Creek Lake’s releases have been increased from 1,000 to 2,000 cfs the past day, with Missouri River flows continuing to decrease.
Brian McNulty, Operations manager with the Tuttle Creek Lake for the U-S Army Corps of Engineers tells KMAN the two are related. Milford increased its releases from 1,500 to 3,000 cfs in the last day, which should also help with its blue-green algae problem as more water moves through the system.
And as for next week, if flows continue to decrease, he anticipates even larger releases.
