Hackathon seeks to revamp Manhattan’s city website

A two-day event this weekend hopes to spice up the City of Manhattan website, as the Little Apple Hackathon takes place Saturday and Sunday.

CivicPlus Chief Technology Officer Brian Rempe is overseeing the technical team at CivicPlus, and explains that since CivicPlus calls Manhattan home this is a way for them to give back. Six teams will work on designing the new website.  Rempe (Rem-pee) does encourage community involvement. You can do so by visiting here.

The community is also welcome to come out to the presentation of the website designs Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m.

The Little Apple Hackathon will be held at the brand new Hilton Garden Inn Hotel and Conference Center.
