The FBI has taken over the investigation of the Kansas State bank robbery in Manhattan. The person in charge of the investigation was not available just before noon Friday.
This is the second time this type of robbery has happened in as many months.
The suspect entered the bank, presented the teller with a note demanding money and then left the bank. No weapon was displayed.
The robber is described as a white male between 5’7″ and 5’8″, who weighs between 160-170 pounds. He was wearing a black beanie cap, sunglasses, a dark shiny coat and jeans at the time of the robbery.
The suspect was last seen heading southeast from the bank
The Community First National Bank branch located near Downtown Manhattan was similarly robbed on October 4th. That suspect was described as a white male, wearing a heavy coat, sunglasses and a winter coat. He also presented a note demanding money and the teller reported seeing a gun in his waistband.
