The Riley County/Manhattan Health Department was ransacked late last week with the damage estimate reaching up towards ten thousand dollars.
According to the Riley County Police Department, an unknown suspect or suspects broke in the glass on an exterior door to the health department, located at Tecumseh Road, gaining entry to the offices, where they further damaged doors, windows, and cabinets. Also damaged during the spree were denture molds from the Konza Community Health Center and a small fridge.
Total loss is valued at around seven-thousand dollars. RCPD Lieutenant Josh Kyle reports nothing has been listed as being stolen
