A candidate has filed for election to the position of Third District Riley County Commissioner. David Fiser is trying for the post, currently held by commission Chair Karen Mcculloh.
Fiser told KMAN Friday he’s interested in a good quality of life for Manhattan, and he wants to be sure it continues to have a good and orderly growth. He describes himself as a fiscal conservative, although adds he’s always willing to listen.
Fiser graduated from Manhattan High in 1957, and K-State in 1962 before going into the military and serving as a cavalry officer until he retired from the Army after 30 years of service.
