By KMAN Staff on February 6, 2012 Local News

Two people were injured in a Sunday evening accident on I-70 in Geary county. Justin Raybon, 22, of Junction City and Tanya Ringquist, 33, of Salina were taken to the Geary Community Hospital, following the accident at milepost 295.5 westbound, reported just before 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

A hospital spokeswoman indicates she has no information on Raybon and Ringquist was treated and released.

The Kansas highway patrol reports Raybon was driving a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am eastbound on I-70, with a 2012 Ford Focus driven by Ringquist which was westbound. Raybon’s Grand Am crossed the median and struck Ringquist’s vehicle.

The accident reportedly tied up traffic for some time Sunday evening.
