A Riley County Jail inmate has entered a plea of no contest to battery of a corrections officer.
Daniel Weaver, 25, was charged last year in connection with an incident at the Riley county jail in December of 2010, involving the battery of a corrections officer at the jail, while being held on another charge.
Weaver entered the plea in Riley County district court Monday. Weaver’s sentencing is set for March 26th.
