Janel Mock, 17, and Amanda Fink, 18, were driving east in the 24-hundred block of Pillsbury Crossing Road around 1 p.m. Saturday when the vehicle loss control and went off the road, making contact with the ditch.
Both Fink and Mock were both transported to Mercy Regional Health Center by Riley County EMS for back and neck pain. According to Mercy Regional, Fink was then transferred to another hospital in the region.
Fink and Mock were both cited for not wearing a seat belt and Mock was also charged with driving too fast for conditions.
