Two men serving time on Geary county convictions are up for public comment sessions and possible parole this next month. Nathaniel Ellibee, 40, was convicted in Geary county in connection with a 1991 case involving second degree murder and two counts of aggravated robbery. Ellibee was passed over for parole four years ago. He currently is being held at the Wichita Work Release center.
Charles Hargrove, 40, was convicted of voluntary manslaughter in Geary county in a 1992 case, and also a 1990 drug-related case. He is currently at the Hutchinson facility.
Public comment sessions in July are the 16th at City Hall in Kansas City, the 17th at the Landon State office building in Topeka, and teh 19th at the Finney State office building in Wichita. Comments may also be sent to the department of corrections in Topeka.
Parole hearings will be held in August, with the earlies possible release in September.
