At the first meeting in July, the Manhattan Ogden Board of Education elects a new president and vice president to serve a one year term.

At their July 5 meeting, the board did just that.  For board presdient, Dave Colburn was nominated and unanimously selected.  For board vice president, Curt Herrman was nominated and also unanimously selected.

Both members added their new titles to their placecard on the board table.

The board also went through their annual duty appointments and annual organization matters.  Both which passed with a 7-0 vote.

The only new business item was that of the chiller at the Manhattan East campus.  As of right now as repairs are made, a rental is being used to allow construction to continue at the site.

The board’s next meeting will be on July 18 at 5:45 pm.
