The June sales tax report has been released.
Bernie Hayen, Director of Finance for the City of Manhattan, announced Friday afternoon while the numbers are “mixed” with some large retailers up about 5 percent, some down 5 percent, the overall amount collected continues to demonstrate strength and stability across the local retail economy.
$841,600 was collected in the June numbers, which actually reflect two months prior. $840,129 was collected a year ago.
