Some much needed rain in the area will have an effect on Friday night’s high school football scrimmages. The Manhattan High, Rock Creek, and Blue Valley football scrimmages has been cancelled for Friday evening.  The Rams will just have regular football practice on Friday.  Scrimmages at Wamego and Frankfort will be moved to the teams’ practice fields. Wamego has cancelled their fall sports recognition, and will now start their scrimmage at 6:30.  Frankfort will still have their scrimmage at 7:00pm on Friday. Riley County’s scrimmage will go on as scheduled at 7:00pm.
