Operation Santa Claus is a program that Fort Riley and the Association of the United States Army have joined together to assist families who may be facing financial difficulties this holiday season by providing toys, and gift cards for children 2 to 16. The two joined forces 28 years ago. There will be a few events around the city of Manhattan where anyone who would like to help can donate toys or give cash donations.

December 4th at Cox Brothers Barbeque from 10:00 AM until 7:00 PM, anyone who gives a donation will receive ten percent off of their meal.

December 9th at the K-State Women’s Basketball game at 2:00 PM. Tickets will be discounted for those who donate.

December 11th at the Holiday Concert in the Manhattan City Auditorium at 7:00 PM. There will be a box available to leave donations for Operation Santa Claus.

Anyone with questions about these events can call Bill Shea at 785-341-6683 for more information.
