    An Arkansas man is behind bars in Riley county on a variety of charges.

    Riley County Police told reporters on Monday that Kerry Coleman, 28 of Pine Bluff Arkansas was taken into custody late Sunday morning on one failure to appear warrant and two probation violation warrants.

    The original charges against Coleman were one count of sale or possession of a hallucinogen with intent to sell, one count of possession of ecstasy , one count obstructing the legal process, and one count of marijuana possession.

    Bond was set at $16,5000

    KMAN has more information on an aggravated assault story that was first reported this weekend.

    As reported earlier, Caleb Nelson,20 was arrested early Saturday morning shortly after midnight and charged with one count of aggravated assault, and one count of consumption of alcohol by a minor.

    Nelson allegedly became intoxicated and entered into an argument  over money with Terrance Bice, of the 6000 block of Tuttle Terrace. Nelson brandished an iron pipe and threatened Bice with it.

    Bond was set at $5,000

    An out of town resident is missing a very special piece of jewelry after a report of theft at a local business .

    Riley County Police told reporters on Monday that  Ashley Butler, 21 of Oklahoma reported that she took off her engagement ring at Bronze Image Tanning, located at 1122 Laramie. She left the premises without it, and when she returned, the ring was gone. The theft was thought to have taken place between 7:30 p.m. and 7:40 p.m.

    The ring is valued at $1,800 and police are investigating.
