A bus driver for USD 383 filed a report with the RCPD yesterday after an altercation with a family member of a student riding on her bus. Bonnie Haines-Kidder, 58, of Manhattan reported criminal threat, assault and criminal trespass on September 11th at approximately 10:00 AM. According to the police report, no children were in danger during the time of the incident, however an argument began between the family member and the driver. The suspect boarded the bus and began an argument, including threatening Haines-Kidder with bodily harm. Officers continue to investigate, but no arrests have been made. The RCPD reports no physical contact or injuries occurred.
RCPD is also investigating a possible prostitution case within the city limits of Manhattan. This is an ongoing investigation and KMAN will update as information is released.
