    Wamego City Hall

Early Tuesday morning, the power went out in Wamego.  According to City Manager Merl Page, this was a scheduled outage for adjustments with Westar, but they did not anticipate a complete outage.  He said there was a switching problem that caused damage to an insulator, causing a complete outage for about 2 hours.
