    Two People Fail to Report Accident in Wamego

    KS-Wamego-Police-Department-PatchThe Wamego Police Department is requesting assistance from the public regarding an injury collision that occurred at the intersection of US 24 Highway and K 99 Highway.

    On Monday,  at about 4:30 PM there was a bicycle rider struck by a white motor vehicle, possibly a Ford. The female driver stopped and assisted the bicycle rider however neither person contacted law enforcement. Wamego Police were notified the following day.

    Kansas law requires certain motor vehicle accidents, including those with injuries be reported to law enforcement. The Wamego Police Department is requesting that anyone with information concerning this incident contact police at 785-456-9553.
