Riley County Firefighters had another busy weekend, with a report of illegal burning on Adams street in Fairmont. Fire chief Pat Collins adds his crews also had a 70 acre fire on Roybler Road north of Randolph, a telephone pole on fire on Barton Rd near Leonardville, a 30 acre grass fire in the 10,000 block of Anderson, a 100 acre fire that burned a barn on West 60th Avenue, and a rekindle of a suspicious fire on Fancy Creek Road that burned 80 acres.

A reminder the entire KMAN listening area is under a fire weather warning, with a red flag warning in effect from noon Monday to nine p.m. this evening.
