    RCPDReportA Manhattan man was taken into custody on Wednesday by the Riley County Police Department

    Glenn Bennett, 46, was arrested Wednesday while at the RCPD. Bennett was arrested on three counts od offense of violation of a protection order. He was given a bond of $6,000. The warrant listing these offenses originated in Saline County.


    A Manhattan man was arrested on Wednesday.

    Konrad Kelson, 22, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. Kelson was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department. He was given a bond of $10,000. The original offense listed on this warrant was listed as burglary.


    A Lawrence man was taken into custody.

    Police arrested Garang Anyit, 22, Wednesday while at the Riley County Police Department. Anyit was arrested on two counts of the offense of probation violation with an original offense of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He was given a total bond of $5,500.


    The Riley County Police Department filed a report for two instances of rape which occurred in August 2015 and January 2016 and involved the same adult female victim and adult male suspect. The victim and suspect appeared to be known to each other. Due to the nature of these crimes and the status of the report no further information was released at the time of this report. Officers continue to investigate the matter.
