Thursday’s guests included, from Fort Riley, Kilee Debita and Hope Jackson, Directorates of Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation. Debita discussed the July 27 annual 10-5-2 Prairie Run. Jackson previewed an Aug. 10 soap box derby at Camp Funston. We also heard from Sgt. First Class Jennifer Champagne previewing the Summerfest rock concert going on Thursday evening at Fort Riley.
The second half of the program featured an update on the National Agro Bio-Defense Facility with Director of National Ag Bio Security Center at K-State Dr. Marty Vanier, NBAF Coordinator for USDA APHIS Dr. Ken Burton and Bio Risk Manager at NBAF Susan Weekly.
