    Friday’s program centered a lot around the outdoors.

    We spoke with Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks & Tourism Game Warden Ben Jedlicka about the upcoming dove hunting season, squirrel hunts and a women in hunting event in September.

    We also heard from Greg Platt, board member for the SAVE Farm about their upcoming hog roast buffet at Cox Bros BBQ on September 5.

    Jeff Hancock with the Kansas Chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers spoke about a fundraiser they have coming up at the Spillway Marina September 7 to help raise money for preservation efforts of public lands in Kansas.
