    Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in the 500 block of Oakdale Dr. in Manhattan on August 9, 2021, around 10:59 a.m. Officers listed a 59-year-old male as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect slashed two tires each on two separate vehicles in his driveway. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,000. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

    Officers filed a report for aggravated burglary in the 700 block of Tuttle St. in Manhattan on August 9, 2021, around 6:32 p.m. Officers listed a 41-year-old female as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect entered her house and stole two bottles of liquor. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $55. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

    Officers filed a report for aggravated domestic battery, domestic battery and criminal damage to property in Manhattan on August 9, 2021, around 8:59 p.m. Officers listed a 36-year-old female as the victim when it was reported a 37-year-old female suspect hit her in the head with a phone and choked her on August 8, 2021. Vickie Lynn Carter, 37, of Manhattan was arrested in connection for domestic battery. Carter was issued a total bond of $1,000 and is no longer confined at the time of this report.
