Ingalls says the Red Cross is always aiming to keep the shelves stocked so blood is always readily available to patients who need it.

Appointments can also be scheduled at redcrossblood.org. The drive runs from noon to 5:45 pm Monday and 7:30 am to 1 pm Tuesday.

There are still plenty of openings, with Ingalls saying their goal is to collect 74 pints Monday and 50 pints on Tuesday.
