The Manhattan City Commission will hold a special session on Tuesday night at City Hall.

On the agenda are two major items headlined by a second reading of the amended tax increment financing plan for Back 9 Development’s Midtown Aggieville project. Commissioners unanimously approved the amended TIF plan on first reading last week.

The commission will then discuss the 2024 state legislative program before finally receiving a city manager update from city manager Ron Fehr.

The meeting will begin at 6 pm and is the second to last meeting of the year for the commission. Next Tuesday will be the final city commission meetings for Mayor Mark Hatesohl, who was defeated for re-election in November, and commissioner Linda Morse who is set to retire.
