    Officers filed a report of theft and criminal use of financial card in the 2800 block of Allison Ave. in Manhattan on March 7, 2024, at approximately 12:17 PM.  Officers listed a 72-year-old female as the victim when it was reported that her credit card was stolen and then used without her permission at several businesses in town. The estimated total loss associated with this case is $4,668.26. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers.  Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

    Officers filed a report of theft in the 300 block of Thurston Street in Manhattan on March 7, 2024, at approximately 4:26 PM.  Officers listed a 60-year-old female as the victim when it was reported that a check was used without her permission to withdraw cash. The estimated total loss associated with this case is $5,121.00 Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers.  Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

    Officers filed a report for aggravated battery on LEO, battery on LEO, and criminal destruction of property at the Riley County Jail on March 7, 2024, around 4:36 PM. A 37-year-old female RCPD Corrections Officer was listed as the victim when it was reported a 32-year-old female inmate attempted to strangle the corrections officer. Tiffany Ryals of Manhattan was arrested in connection with the aggravated battery on LEO, battery on LEO, and criminal destruction of property. She was issued a $25,000 bond for these charge and remains confined in the Riley County Jail.

    Terron Maples Jr., 22, of KAnsas City, MO, was arrested while in St. Charles, MO, on March 7, 2024, at approximately 9:54 AM. Maples was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for theft stemming from an incident that happened in December of 2022. Maples was issued a total bond of $8,000 and was confined at the time of this report.

    Tucker Currie, 38, of Manhattan, was arrested while in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on March 7, 2024, at approximately 1:15 PM. Currie was arrested on probable cause offenses of violating a protection order, stalking/sexual assault/ human trafficking. Currie was issued a total bond of $5,000 and was not confined at the time of this report.
