RCPD Report: 9/6/24

Officers filed a report of vehicle burglary in the 900 block of N. 4th Street on September 5, 2024, at approximately 7:40 AM.  Officers listed a 49-year-old male as the victim when it was reported his vehicle was entered overnight by an unknown subject. The victim states his iPhone, charger, debit card, and giant bicycle were all taken. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

Officers filed a report of aggravated indecent liberties with a child in Manhattan on September 5, 2024, at approximately 7:15 PM.  Due to the nature of this report, no other information will be released at this time.

Officers filed a report of an injury accident at the corner of Bluemont and N. 3rd Street on September 5, 2024, at approximately 9:46 PM.  Officers report Reagan Hazell, 23, of Manhattan, was southbound on N. 3rd when she stopped at a stop sign. As she proceeded forward a bicycle, ridden by Caindre Worthington, 32, of Manhattan, entered the crosswalk and the two vehicles collided.  Worthington was transported to Via Christi with non-life-threatening injuries.

Keyante White, 27, of Manhattan, was arrested on September 5, 2024, at approximately 7:51 PM in the 200 block of N. 4th Street. White was arrested on probable cause offenses of use/possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia, violation of a protection order, and possession of opiate/opium/narcotic/ or certain stimulant. Total bond was set at $10,000. White was confined at the time of this report.

Chasity Triplett, 42, of Manhattan, was arrested on September 5, 2024, at approximately 7:51 PM in the 200 block of N. 4th Street. Triplett was arrested on probable cause offenses of use/possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia and possession of opiate/opium/narcotic/ or certain stimulant. Total bond was set at $5,000. Triplett was confined at the time of this report.
