    Officers filed a report of theft and battery on an LEO on September 6, 2024, at approximately 8:53 AM in the 1100 block of Bluemont Ave.  Officers arrested listed the victim as a 47-year-old officer.  Ashleigh Speaks, 31, of Manhattan, was arrested on the aforementioned probable cause offenses. Total bond was set at $2,000. She was confined at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report of battery of a corrections officer on September 6, 2024, at approximately 3:35 PM in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road.  Officers listed a 36-year-old corrections officer as the victim when it was reported a 39-year-old inmate spit on the CO.

    Brandale Williams, 53, of Junction City, was arrested on September 6, 2024, at approximately 7:29 PM in the 1300 block of Laramie Street. Williams was arrested on the probable cause offenses of possession of an opiate/opium/narcotic/certain stimulant and use/possess with the intent to use drug paraphernalia into the human body. Total bond was set at $6,000. Williams was not confined at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report of aggravated burglary, criminal trespass, and violation of a protection order on September 7, 2024, at 9:50 AM in the 2100 block of Northview Drive.  Officers listed a 29-year-old female as the victim when it was reported a known suspect entered her home without permission and in violation of an order of protection. Jake Lindsey, 38, of Manhattan, was arrested for the probable cause offenses listed above. Lindsey was not issued a bond at this time. He was confined at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report of vehicular burglary on September 7, 2024, at approximately 12:31 PM in the 2900 block of Nelson’s Landing. Officers listed a 28-year-old female as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect entered the victim’s vehicle in the overnight hours and took a ring and cash. Total loss associated with this report is approximately $1,000. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers.     James Johnson, 23, of Manhattan, was arrested in the 2500 block of Candle Crest Circle on September 7, 2024, at approximately 1:20 PM. Johnson was arrested on the probable cause offenses of kidnapping and aggravated battery. Total bond was set at $50,000. Johnson was confined at the time of this report.

    Devin Simon, 30, of Manhattan, was arrested on September 7, 2024, at approximately 8:39 PM at the intersection of N. 15th Street and Poyntz Ave.  Simon was arrested on the probable cause offenses of criminal damage to property and domestic battery. Total bond was set at $10,000. Simon was confined at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report of burglary in the 1000 block of Colorado Street on September 8, 2024, at approximately 9:13 AM.  Officers listed a 47-year-old female as the victim when it was reported her red Cannondale 1-Speed bike was taken by an unknown subject in the overnight hours.     Officers filed a report of rape in Manhattan on September 8, 2024. Due to the nature of this crime, no other information will be released at this time.

    Samantha Harris, 38, of Manhattan, was arrested on September 8, 2024, at approximately 12:03 PM in the 1100 block of Bluemont Ave.  Harris was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. The original charge in this matter is for battery of an LEO. Total bond was set at $6,000. Harris was confined at the time of this report.
