Manhattan High boys’ basketball was outdone by Blue Valley-Stilwell on Thursday night, falling 64-50 in a non-league home contest.

“Some nights, you just get beat. We got beat tonight,” head coach Benji George said. We just have to look at Centennial League play now like it’s a whole new season.”

The Indians (4-8) came off a 17-point comeback in its McPherson tournament finale but failed to put together back-to-back wins for potentially the first time this season. The Tigers (9-3) entered as winners of five straight and proved to have their momentum carry two hours west.

Manhattan was led by junior Noah McFadden in scoring with a career-high 21 points, including 7-8 at the charity stripe.
