On April 5 and April 6, 2025, the Riley County Police Department managed various incidents and arrests.
Notable incidents included a battery at an apartment on Vattier Street, an assault on Moro Street, and a criminal threat at Burlington on 3rd Place. Authorities also responded to non-injury accidents, an unattended death on North 8th Street, and an animal bite in Leonardville.
Among several arrests, Otis D. Wise, 32, was arrested for domestic battery with a bond set at $2,000. Additionally, Allyson Francine Gann, 38, was taken into custody with a substantial total bond of $46,000 for probation revocation and multiple failures to appear in court.
DUI arrests included Ivaniel Nieves Grullon, 19, by Kansas State University Police, and Jennifer Griselda Torrez-Torrez, 36, both facing bonds of $750 for first-time offenses.
Christina Alice Parker, 21, was also arrested for domestic battery with a bond of $2,000.
