K-State football has added an experienced running back to its 2025 roster. As Louisiana Monroe transfer Antonio Martin committed to K-State on Thursday.
According to K-State Online, Martin’s commitment comes before his planned visit to Manhattan this weekend. He entered the transfer portal on April 25.
Martin transfered to Monroe in January after a very productive season at Southeastern Louisiana. He decided to enter the portal after Spring ball.
Last season for Southeastern Louisiana, the 5’11” Martin rushed for 1,228 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also added 20 catches for 74 yards receiving. His best game was against Tarleton State where he had 32 carries for 206 yards and three touchdowns.
Prior to SE Louisiana, Martin rushed for 603 yards and five touchdowns in 2023 at Blinn College. Out of high school, Martin signed with Goergia Tech and redshirted in 2022.
Coming out of Langston Hughes High School in Georgia, Martin was a four-star recruit and named a top 300 player by ESPN.
