On April 21, 2025, at approximately 6:58 p.m. in the 600 block of Pecan Circle, officers filed a report for theft of property or services, theft by deception and making false information. Two Manhattan businesses were listed as victims in the case, Central Mechanical Construction Co. and Howies Recycling Inc. The report list a 43-year-old male as the suspect. Adam Rundell, 43, of Manhattan, was arrested on May 2, 2025, at approximately 1:49 p.m. for theft of property or service, theft by deception and making false information. Rundell was issued a total bond of $5000 and is still confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Corina Gutierrez Demille, 50, of Junction City, KS, was arrested on May 3, 2025, at approximately 11:28 p.m. in the 4100 block of Fort Riley Blvd. for an extraditable arrest warrant out of Olero County, New Mexico. Gutierrez Demille was issued no bond and is still confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report
