    Officers filed a report for theft by deception in the 4200 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd. in Manhattan on May 17, 2023, around 8:45 a.m. A 64-year-old woman was listed as the victim when she reported she had been scammed into depositing a fake check she was sent and sending $2,500 to a suspect through Venmo to buy supplies for a work-from-home job. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

    Officers filed a report for aggravated assault and assault in the 200 block of Seventh St. in Ogden on May 17, 2023, around 9:45 a.m. A 19-year-old woman was listed as a victim, a 23-year-old man was listed as a victim and suspect, and a 23-year-old woman as a suspect when it was reported the 23-year-old woman tried to stab the 23-year-old man and threatened the 19-year-old woman, and the 23-year-old man threatened the 23-year-old woman.

    Terry Andruszczak, 45, of Manhattan was arrested on May 17, 2023, around 1:45 on his Johnson County District Court warrant for failure to appear and was released to Johnson County.

    Officers responded to the report of an injury crash near the intersection of Stony Brook Dr. and Tuttle Cove Rd. on May 17, 2023, around 8:15 p.m. After arriving on scene, officers found a 2006 Yamaha motorcycle driven by Dustin Powell, 30, of Fort Riley had left the road while navigating a curve, hitting a Tuttle Creek State Park sign, and landing in the grass. Powell was transported to Via Christi for treatment of broken ribs and internal bleeding and was later transported to KU Medical Center in Kansas City for further treatment.

    Officers responded to the report of an injury crash near the intersection of Henton and Moehlman Roads at the dirt bike track on May 17, 2023, around 8: 45 p.m. After arriving on scene, officers found Kaiden Crain 19, of St. George was navigating the dirt bike track and was ejected from his dirt bike over the handlebars. Crain was transported to Via Christi for treatment of unknown injuries.
