Officers responded to the report of an injury crash on the northbound offramp of N. Seth Child Rd. and the intersection of Anderson Ave. in Manhattan on June 6, 2023, around 9:15 a.m. After arriving on scene, officers found a 2009 Lexus GX driven by Kim Nguyen, 47, of Manhattan was driving north on the offramp when it was clipped by a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Vernon Vandahl, 74, of Manhattan as it drove the wrong way up the offramp. The Lexus went off the roadway and into the ditch next to the ramp. Nguyen and a passenger of her car Jenni Ngo, 23, of Manhattan were transported to Via Christi for treatment of minor injuries.
