    Officers filed a report for aggravated domestic battery, rape, and criminal restraint in Manhattan on September 13, 2023, at approximately 9:15 a.m. A 27-year-old female was listed as the victim and a 28-year-old male known to the victim was listed as the suspect. Due to the nature of this crime, no further information will be released.

    Officers filed a report for burglary and criminal damage to property in the 1000 block of Vattier St. in Manhattan on September 13, 2023, at approximately 5:45 p.m. 21- and 24-year-old females were listed as the victims when it was reported one of them returned to their apartment and found a naked man inside who had damaged a few small items. Officers arrived on scene, and found Devon Griffith, 33, of Draper, Utah, inside. Griffith was arrested for burglary and criminal damage to property. He remains confined in the Riley County Jail with a total bond of $7,000.

    Nicholas Chavez, 21, of Manhattan, was arrested on September 13, 2023, at approximately 5:45 p.m. while already confined in the Riley County Jail on a Riley County District Court warrant for interference with law enforcement and battery on a law enforcement officer. This warrant stems from a July 29, 2023, incident where it was reported Chavez kicked two RCPD officers and interfered with them as they were detaining him. Chavez was issued a bond of $5,000 for this warrant and remains confined.

    Officers filed a report for theft in the 500 block of Moro St. in Manhattan on September 13, 2023, at approximately 7:00 p.m. A 26-year-old male was listed as the victim when it was reported his orange Wilderness Systems kayak was stolen from his backyard. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $700. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

    Aaron Flower, 41, of Manhattan was arrested on September 13, 2023, at approximately 8:15 p.m. while already confined in the Riley County Jail after he battered three Corrections Officers and broke a window in the jail. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $2,000. Flower was arrested for criminal damage to property and three counts of battery on a law enforcement officer. Flower was issued a bond of $25,000 for these charges and remains confined.

    Charla Albright, 43, of Manhattan, was arrested on September 14, 2023, at approximately 12:45 a.m. on a Pottawatomie County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Albright was issued a bond of $5,000 for this warrant and is no longer confined at the time of this report.
