PCI is an invasive procedure used in certain types of heart attacks that require emergent interventional cardiology care within 90 minutes. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) Wednesday launched the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF) “Think and Do Challenge,” a prize competition that seeks ideas to leverage NBAF resources in order to conduct research to protect the Nation’s animal agricultural industry and public health. Riley County Police are investigating a reported aggravated kidnapping which allegedly took place in the 300 block of North Sunset Avenue in Manhattan Tuesday afternoon at approximately 2:45. Police were informed of an incident involving a 16-year-old male victim who was taken in a vehicle and later dropped off near the Sunset Zoo by several unknown males. The victim was in possession of a backpack that was taken and items listed as stolen were the backpack with cologne and various binders. WICHITA, Kan. (AP) A Wichita man has been charged with abducting a 15-year-old boy and shocking him with jumper cables to get information about a robbery. The Wichita Eagle reports that 58-year-old Robert McDowell was charged Tuesday with aggravated kidnapping, aggravated battery, aggravated assault and criminal threat. It wasn’t immediately known whether he had an attorney. Wichita police Lt. James Espinoza says a gun was placed against the boy’s back early Sunday as he was walking.
