K-State head football coach Chris Klieman announced today that sophomore wide receiver Hunter Rison has been indefinitely suspended from the team for a violation of team and departmental policy.
“Our program will be one that is built on hard work and integrity and doing things the right way,” Klieman said. “We have extremely high expectations for our players on and off the field.”
Rison was arrested Friday and faces a charge of domestic battery to a family/person in a dating relationship. Rison was released on a $1,000 bond.
The 20-year-old redshirt sophomore transferred from Michigan State and sat out last season.
