MANHATTAN, KAN. –
Officers responded to the report of an injury crash near the intersection of Tuttle Cove Rd. and Terrea Heights Dr. in Manhattan on September 8, 2021, around 8:03 a.m. When officers arrived on scene they found a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze driven by Andrew Spencer Tomb III, 78, of Manhattan had hit Tommy Hagadorn-Brecken, 7, of Manhattan while Hagadorn-Brecken was crossing the roadway. Hagadorn-Brecken was transported by EMS to Via Christi then to Stormont Vail by Life Star for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers filed a report for rape in Manhattan on September 8, 2021, around 3:43 p.m. Officers listed a 20-year-old female as the victim and a 30-year-old male known to her as the suspect. Due to the nature of this crime, no further information will be released.dailycitationmedia_9-9-21
