A number of Cereal Malt beverage ordinances for the City of Manhattan are slated to be updated, and the process got going at last night’s Manhattan City Commission meeting. Outdated ordinances include one requiring establishments allowing dancing to obtain a dance license, and no dance license has been issued since 1998.
What really stole the show was an item on the consent agenda which was discussed previously, the ordinance dealing with regulations on driveways. The ordinance was tabled after much discussion as well as a fair amount of public comment, and should be hammered out in the near future.
