    Big 12 Football championship game returning in 2017

    The Big 12 revealed their new logo at Big 12 Media Days in Dallas, which will be debut in the 2014-15 school year.

    big 12The Big 12 conference voted unanimously today to reinstate the football championship game in 2017.

    With only 10 teams still in the conference, how a team can become eligible to play in the championship game is yet to be determined. As of now, the Big 12 will continue to play a nine-game, round-robin schedule. The conference has the choice to add divisions even if they do not add any new members.
