    Officers filed a report for vehicle burglary in the 2500 block of Buttonwood Dr. in Manhattan on August 28, 2019, at approximately 1:30 PM. Officers listed a 23-year-old male as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect took his Macbook Air, backpack, book and water bottle. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,070.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Officers filed a report for larceny and criminal damage to property 400 block of Leavenworth on August 29, 2019, at approximately 1:30 AM. Officers listed a 49-year-old male as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect damaged his Carhartt Jacket and backpack and took miscellaneous other items. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,330.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.     Officers filed a report for vehicle burglary in the 2200 block of College Ave. in Manhattan on August 29, 2019, at approximately 5:30 AM. Officers listed a 25-year-old male as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect damaged his Nissan Altima and took a wallet and cash. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $580.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.     Officers filed a report for larceny and criminal damage to property in the 400 block of S 4th St. in Manhattan on August 29, 2019, at approximately 5:45 AM. Officers listed a 31-year-old male as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect damaged his Toyota Prius and took a Kevlar Helmet. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,500.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Officers responded to the report of an injury crash near the intersection of College and Claflin in Manhattan on August 28, 2019, at approximately 2:50 PM. When officers arrived on scene, they found a 2001 black Honda Motorcycle driven by Cameron Butler, 21, of Manhattan had crashed. Butler was transported to Via Christi for treatment of his injuries. Butler was issued a citation for driving without a license and no proof of insurance.
