Currently the host of "KMAN's Morning News", Troy is a 30 year veteran of radio, nearly 20 in northern Colorado, where he served as the "Voice of the UNC Bears" while serving as the news and sports director for one of the oldest AM stations in the country. No stranger to Manhattan nor Kansas, Troy is an alum of K-State in broadcast journalism and grew up near Circleville. He began his broadcast career with KSDB-FM on campus while working part time at another radio station in town. He's married to the former Monica Haugsness of Seneca, who has patiently put up with his schedule for more than 25 years.

After suffering their first conference loss by a single point Saturday on the road, the K-State men are back in Manhattan to face ninth-ranked Baylor. The matchup is the only one this season between the squads because of the unbalanced schedule and marks another meeting between Scott Drew on the Baylor bench and his former long-time assistant Jerome Tang coaching the Wildcats. For K-State, this is the first time this season they’ve faced a top 10 squad, but they go in unsure of Dai Dai Ames’ availability. The guard was said by Tang Monday to be improving after an injury…

North Carolina State also faces a lot of changes, including Bednarik Award winner Peyton Wilson, who opted out of the game. All eyes are on Avery Johnson starting at quarterback and Chris Klieman said he was impressed with what he saw from the freshman…
